The image below shows the intersection of Midland and McClean Avenues. The WHITE ARROW indicates the direction of Neumeister and Heidemann's carraige, down Midland. The RED DOT shows the probable location of operative "Joseph Sfoza," who played the disagreeable hobo, who "provoked" Neumeister. It is here that Neumesiter "kills" him. The YELLOW DOT shows the hill where other operatives observed the action.
Obviously the area was far less populated in 1910-11. There were probably few or no houses around here.
the discovery of the original documents, no mention had ever been made
